Toddlers Ages 1-2 Schedule

Children Arrive
Greeting - Routine Care (Breakfast, diapering, or using the potty) - Self-directed activities in learning areas
Mid-Morning
Snack -vPlanned play – Teacher directed for some - Self-directed play in learning areas for others - Outdoor time
Late Morning:
Lunch - Nap for some - Clean up after lunch - Planned play: teacher-directed play for some toddlers who are awake. - Self directed play in learning areas for others
Early Afternoon:
Napping toddlers get up - Routine Care (diapering, going to the potty) - Snack - Planned Play: Teacher-directed play for some - Self directed play in learning areas for others
Mid-Afternoon:
Routine care (diapering, going to the potty) - Planned play: teacher-directed play for some - Self-directed play in learning areas for others - Outdoor play
Late-Afternoon:
Routine care (diapering, going to potty, clean up) - Self-directed play - Talk to parents - Clean up room - Set up room for the next day
Planned Play:
Teacher directed play may include activities in learning areas.
